Growing GOB's brand system. Introducing GOB's iconography system and motion language.
Context
Many of GOB's customers are new to bio-based plastic-free earplugs, with existing culture and stigma around earplugs and the proper use for earplugs. As a result, customers were needing to relearn how and when to properly use GOB earplugs. This work showcases a portion of the work our team introducing a brand motion and iconography system for the use of guidelines, packaging and educational content. This work also showcases how these brand elements were utilized in our marketing system and content.
Context
Many of GOB's customers are new to bio-based plastic-free earplugs, with existing culture and stigma around earplugs and the proper use for earplugs. As a result, customers were needing to relearn how and when to properly use GOB earplugs. This work showcases a portion of the work our team introducing a brand motion and iconography system for the use of guidelines, packaging and educational content. This work also showcases how these brand elements were utilized in our marketing system and content.
Goals
The primary goal - to increase education and knowledge of product to reduce the number of inquiries and returns coming in from lack of information on the proper use of products. The secondary goal - to educate the music, labor, and wellness community and culture the dangers of prolonged exposure to loud noise. The technology and science behind mycelium growth and use and the production of AirMycelium® produced by Ecovative for GOB.

The iconography system now lives on product packaging, social content, marketing strategy and OOH marketing content. Once the educational content went live, there was a clear understanding that customers were now realizing the full potential of the bio-based earplugs. All while educating the community on the risks of loud noises and hearing damage, and how GOB earplugs can help prevent tinnitus and improve your experience in loud noise settings.
