A ground-level brand activation designed and built for GOB's presence at Forest Hills Stadium during a live concert for Chappell Roan, turning hearing protection into part of the show itself.


Context
With over 1.1B young concertgoers at risk of hearing damage, GOB's goal was to reach as many ears as possible and promote safe sound exposure at live events, any more than 15 minutes of exposure to typical concert levels around 100dB can cause damage, so our team knew exactly where to reach our audience. Forest Hills Stadium, during Chappell Roan's run of shows, gave GOB a live, high-energy environment to bring that mission directly to fans and to add real value to the live experience itself, not just hand out product at the door.
Context

Exploration
Our team designed the activation around handing out GOB earplugs before the show started, using that moment of exposure to educate the audience while they were already primed to engage. To make it stick, we built a photo moment in the style of GOB's Blast Booth from the Shopify event in New York — recreating that same feeling of being hit by a wall of sound, with the earplugs visibly worn in every photo taken. It turned a practical safety product into something concertgoers actually wanted to be photographed with. We also used the activation to introduce GOB's newest earplug vending machines, placed on-site at Forest Hills Stadium, and led the motion graphics and branding work showcasing both the new machines and the products themselves.
