Elijah Fox Live Session Recording Album - Limited Edition
Context
Elijah Fox, an LA-based pianist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist known for his work with artists like SZA, J Cole, and Childish Gambino, performed a live session recorded straight to tape at Vinyl Ceremony's pressing plant in Pasadena, CA. The recording was later pressed into a limited run of 250 vinyl copies for retail, this new project was an idea that the founders of Vinyl Ceremony had to start a live sessions series, where the live sessions would be recorded per new artist playing. This recorded session would then become a living system of visuals and music that relate very closely to each other. Listeners would be able to purchase these limisted editions as collectibles.

A special live session of Elijah Fox playing his improvisations for his love of Los Angeles and Pasadena was recorded live for the production of a limited release album. Vinyl Ceremony wanted to create an album artwork that departs from Elijah's previous album styles and would also support continue to blossom into future live session recording variations of the new artwork. Elijah Fox's playing style heavily influenced the artwork in pattern, rhythm and color.
